Naumann's monumental work, revised and expanded by Carl R. Hennicke at the turn of the twentieth century, is considered one of the most comprehensive and beautifully illustrated ornithological atlases of its era, setting the standard for scientific accuracy and artistic detail in natural history illustration.
Chromolithograph. Sheet size approximately 41.0 × 30.2 cm. Good condition, with some wear and minor tears to the margins, not affecting the image.
