Anton Göring was a prominent German naturalist and illustrator whose detailed and scientifically accurate bird illustrations were highly regarded in the late nineteenth century, contributing significantly to ornithological knowledge in Central Europe through major atlas projects.

Chromolithograph. Sheet size approximately 41.0 × 30.2 cm. Very good condition, with minor wear to the outer margins consistent with age.
