This detailed plate is part of Erik Dahlbergh's ambitious project to document Sweden's cities, castles and historical sites. Marot, a leading French Baroque architectural engraver, was one of several Continental specialists Dahlbergh recruited to bring international standards of finish to the Swedish project.
