Chéri Hérouard (Charles Hérouard) was one of the most prolific illustrators of La Vie Parisienne, working under several pseudonyms across more than three decades. His fashion satires distilled the magazine's signature blend of elegance and innuendo, capturing the inter-war Parisienne's swift turn from corseted modesty to the slim-line silhouettes of the new decade.
