This earlier variant of the Star furniture campaign predates the firm's larger 1929 poster and represents an early adoption of Art Deco visual language by French commercial printers. The Camis press, based at 59 Boulevard de Strasbourg, was a leading Parisian chromolithographer producing sheets that chronicled the rapid modernisation of French commercial interiors during the interwar period.
