A hand-coloured lithograph from Emile Thézard's La Maison Pour Tous, a pattern book of affordable villa designs published in Dourdan, c. 1900.

M. Muret, architect. Plate 4. Printed by E. Delamotte, Paris.

Thézard's publication offered detailed architectural plans — façades, cross-sections, and floor layouts — for middle-class families seeking affordable suburban and country homes during the Belle Époque. Muret's villa for Limours, a commune south-west of Paris in the Essonne, shows the reach of these pattern books into the rural Île-de-France.

Chromolithograph on paper. Sheet size approximately 34.2 × 26.6 cm. Very Good condition.
